A Message from the Executive of the Port Hope Branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario: After 62 years of preserving Port Hope’s remarkable heritage architecture and landscapes, the ACO Port Hope Branch will close its doors on October 31st 2026, due to the discontinuation of the branch structure by our provincial organization, ACO Inc. ACO Port Hope’s important cultural and natural heritage work of advocacy, education, events, and restoration grants will continue. As of November, this site will cease publication. Please visit The Port Hope Heritage Foundation for updates on the future of our organization. We hope that you will continue to support heritage initiatives in Port Hope.
