Important Message from Deb Crawford, Chair of Architectural Conservancy Ontario, regarding Membership

Throughout 2025, ACO leadership has been undertaking important structural changes to strengthen the organization’s long-term sustainability and sharpen our focus on the advocacy and education initiatives that matter most to our members. As part of a broader set of changes to be introduced in 2026, individual memberships will increase to $65 (with household, student, and emerging professional rates remaining unchanged), and memberships will no longer be considered a charitable donation.

Help preserve Port Hope’s rich legacy of architectural treasures by becoming a member of ACO. Your membership affiliates you with the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario which raises funds for restoration, preservation and conservation within the urban and rural landscapes of Port Hope. We look forward to growing with you.

Memberships are renewed annually, on the anniversary of the date that you joined the ACO. A representative of the membership committee will email you at the beginning of that month with a reminder and details on the two methods of payment.

Memberships per year:
Individual: $65
Household of two: $80
Each additional household member: $15
Full-time Student / Emerging Professional: $20

  • Send funds from your bank’s Interac service, add this address etransfer@acoporthope.ca
  • In the message box, please provide your email and mailing address in the message box and indicate that the payment is for an ACO membership fee and/or donation
