They enhance well-being, reduce environmental waste, and provide strong economic and social benefits. We do not constantly race toward, or strive endlessly for what is next, rather we are appreciating what has come before, so we can collaborate with others to build an inspiring and sustaining dream of a better community, and create the heritage of the future. The mission of ACO Port Hope is to help preserve buildings and structures of architectural merit and to protect places of natural beauty in and around the municipality of Port Hope.
